Job Description: Evaluate Code Compliance

Cherokee, conducted a survey of the Paolo Restaurant and adjoining
Business tenant spaces to evaluate the life safety features and required fire
protection features. The tenant spaces had sustained a minor fire and now
required a code compliance evaluation to ensure the safety of the both business
tenants and restaurant patrons.
This evaluation reviewed the adequacy of the exits, the means of egress and life safety systems as well as the condition of the building’s fire alarm and sprinkler systems. The purpose of this survey was to establish compliance with the International Building Code and National Fire Protection Association’s Code No. 101, Life Safety Code.
Cherokee detailed the life safety feature and system deficiencies and provided recommendations for code compliance.
